Lights Up Kids Fest

Lights up Kids Fest: A Celebration of Children’s Theatre and Performing Arts for the Inner West.

Flight Path Theatre and Shinyheart Productions are proud to announce the inaugural Lights Up Kids Fest for the Inner West, a 12-day celebration of Children’s Theatre and Performing Arts, taking place at Flightpath Theatre. Lights Up is designed to illuminate the performing arts in primary schools in the Inner West, by inviting kids to join us at Flight Path Theatre as an audience member, a participant and a performer.

Lights up Kids Fest will be a vibrant showcase of creativity, imagination, and talent, aimed at enriching the lives of children and families in our community. Throughout the festival, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of engaging events and performances.

Especially on Birthdays: A physical theatre spectacular presented by Flight Path Theatre & Shinyheart Productions

Never before seen in NSW, Especially on Birthdays is a unique blend of performance, games, and celebration, offering audiences a glimpse into the world of two twins as they navigate the excitement and trepidation of a sixth birthday, created by The  PaperBoats with a score by Disney’s Mulan music director, Matthew Wilder. Executive Director of Theatre for Young Audiences/USA, Johnathan S Chapman, aptly describes it as, "captivating beauty and energy." It promises to be a memorable experience for children and adults alike.
